Annual General Meeting

Gaeloideachas convenes an Annual General Meeting each year to allow for the election of members to our Board, and the proposal of resolutions by our member schools. These resolutions inform and direct the work of the organisation on the schools’ behalf.

2019 AGM

The 2019 Annual General Meeting will be held at 11.00 on November 16th, 2019, in the Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork. Gaeloideachas’ Annual Conference takes place in the same venue on November 15th, and you can find more details and register to attend here: Tionól Forbartha (in Irish only)

Schools must be registered as current members of the organisation to be eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting. To confirm your school’s membership status, contact or call 01 8535195. You’ll find further information on becoming a member of Gaeloideachas here: Membership


Gaeloideachas Board is comprised of representatives from three sectors – (i) Irish-medium primary schools outside Gaeltacht areas, (ii) Gaeltacht primary schools and (iii) Irish-medium post-primary schools – as well as representatives for six geographical regions.
